I’ve completed the registration, but the terminal is still not working. Why?If you've completed the registration but the terminal is still not working, it could be due to several reasons: The activation process may still be ongoing, which typically takes 1 to 5 business days. Check the status of your terminal activation in the MyPayter portal or in your email correspondence. There might be missing or incorrect information in the registration form. If this is the case, we will notify you via email regarding any issues. Ensure that your Merchant ID is associated with a supported bank or acquirer. If you have received confirmation from us that the terminal(s) have been activated, we kindly ask you to contact our support department at support@payter.nl. They can assist you in determining the reason why the terminal is still not functioning. Please don't forget to include your serial number(s) in the email. If you need further assistance, please let us know.

What are the costs for activating a terminal?The cost for activating a terminal is a one-time fee of €12.50 per terminal, with a maximum charge of €187.50 for activation requests involving 15 or more terminals. Please note that this fee applies to each registration/boarding form submitted.

What are the monthly or yearly subscription fees?Select which terminal series you would like to view the transaction fees for, and choose the bank or acquirer with which you have or wish to set up a payment contract. The fees per terminal are as follows: Monthly Fees: Support Contract: €7.00 – Includes support, software updates, and access to transaction data via the MyPayter Portal. SIM Data Contract (if applicable): €4.00 – Applies to terminals processing less than 1500 transactions per month. Additional charges apply if the data limit is exceeded. Yearly Fees: Support Contract: €84.00 – Includes support, software updates, and access to transaction data via the MyPayter Portal. SIM Data Contract (if applicable): €48.00 – Applies to terminals processing less than 1500 transactions per month. Additional charges apply if the data limit is exceeded.

What should I do if I am taking over terminals from another company?If you are taking over terminals from another company, the previous owner needs to fill out a mutation form using the following link: https://www.payter.com/terminalmutations In the transfer form, the current owner approves the transfer. Once submitted, we will send an email to the new owner regarding the activation process.

I’d like to accept credit cards on my terminal. How can I add this feature?To accept credit cards on your terminal, you will need to contact your bank or acquirer with whom you have your payment contract. Please keep in mind that not every bank or acquirer accepts credit cards, so it's important to confirm this with them. They will provide you with the necessary steps to enable this feature.

How does my terminal come online?The P6X series terminals can connect to the internet via a LAN cable or a SIM card. The Apollo series terminals can connect using a LAN cable, SIM card, or Wi-Fi. If your terminal has been activated but is still not online, please contact our support team at Support@payter.nl for assistance.

What is the contract duration?The contracts are automatically renewed without notice after the minimum obligation of a one-year contract period. After the initial 12-month period, the subscription can be cancelled with one month's notice.

What should I be aware of if I or my machine supplier will be installing or placing my terminal?Before the terminal is ready for use, the following points must be completed: You have received confirmation from our Sales Support team that the terminal has been activated, based on the completed boarding form or online terminal registration form. A working internet connection is available via a LAN cable or a SIM card. (Please note: the SIM card is only active if this has been indicated in the registration form you completed. If the SIM card needs to be activated, you can send an email to sales@payter.nl with the serial numbers of both the terminal and the SIM card.) If you can answer "yes" to all of the above points, the terminal can be installed. Once the terminal is installed and has downloaded the contract details, it is ready for the test transaction. We always recommend performing a test transaction before making the machine available to the public. If the test transaction is approved/successful, the terminal is ready for use.
